Energy Study Project Example - Dow
CLIENT: Dow Corning
LOCATION: Springfield, Oregon
The scope of this proposal is to provide the plant engineer with a plant electrical
load survey, an updated single line diagram, a device coordination study, a short
circuit study and replacement of PBC filled and/or overloaded transformers with
adequate capacity for future needs.
The overall project consists of the following:
- Field verification of electrical equipment nameplate data
- Application of Power Demand Recorder to existing power distribution
system
- Analysis of nameplate data and demand recordings
- Generation of ACAD one-line diagram for plant
- Development of equipment and installation specifications for required
transformer replacements
Evergreen Engineering, Inc. will provide the services of the above mentioned as
well as interaction with the clients representatives to meet the plants future power
needs. The final document will be supplemented with a disk copy of the on-line
diagram for their files.
